Hi folks,

The Mondo Movie website has been a functional front end for the podcast for the last three and a bit years, and we've never had much in the way of ambition in terms of growing it outside of these very forums. That's about to change though. Dan and I are intending to rework the website, to make it more than a front-end for the show - with content, news, interviews, reviews. Essentially a more fully formed movie site.

This is where you come in.

1. We need suggestions of what you think Mondomovie.com should become. What kind of content would you like to see on the new site?

2. We're going to be looking for contributors to the new site, as Dan and I won't be able to do this alone. If you'd be interested in writing for the new site, then please register your interest below, or by Private Messaging me. We'll be asking for submissions of work nearer the time but would be good to see how many of you are keen to get involved.

We'll be announcing this to the wider audience on an upcoming show, but thought the forum people should here about this first, as you guys are the most active community members.

Very interesting idea to expand on the current website, maybe you could have written in depth reviews of the latest movies that come out and current news reviews on gossip, rumors etc of upcoming movies (though i'm sure you'll need to have more writers as this could prove to be hard work).

And i've noticed on a website that i check on a regular basis and though it's a gaming website think the same thing could work for a movie website, what they've done has been to not only have forums for the listeners of the shows to write on but also the option to write their own blogs, which could work really well if enough people are interested in this idea of writing their own blog on the Mondo website (you could also possibly encourage the use of blogs by giving the best blog of the week posted onto the front page of the website alongside the reviews and news). Hopefully blogs would be read by other Mondo fans and comment on each others blogs and bring the community closer together.

Maybe if its possible to have trailers of the latest movies posted on the site aswell.

Anyways just afew ideas from me, unfortunately can't say that i'll be able to help out myself as i'm not confident with my writting abilities and life is rather difficult at the moment and can't commit myself to the cause sorry.
