Im so fucking glad I found this podcast a few months back. I have a few new favorite movies now because of it. Without the podcast, I can say with 100% certainty that I would not have seen most of these movies

Mum and Dad: Wow! Some things can never be unseen. Like cum in human organs. This one will stick with me for a long time. I had a few friends watch it. Its wicked awesome. 9/10

Cherry Tree Lane: I dont agree that it was better than Funny Games though. Funny Games is about two guys who are sick and insane. The 3 guys in CTL are just dumb thugs who dont really have a thought out plan. 7/10

Burning Bright: Proof that dealing with a tiger is much easier than dealing with autism. 5/10

Life Is Cheap... But Toilet Paper Is Expensive: Haha. WTF? Havent seen how it ends. Im not sure im going to. I accidentally erased it and it took me forever to download it (1 seeder). 6/10?

The Orphanage: Was going to watch a long time ago but had no desire to. Glad I did! 9/10

The Horde: Wasnt expecting much but it is on Netflix (Xbox). I would have never watched it but I remembered it from the podcast. Fucking cool zombies. 8/10

Im trying to find "F" if anyone knows how I could, let me know please

My favorite podcasts are the Frightfest ones. I add the movies onto my imdb watchlist and rent, netflix, buy or download them later

When you are looking for a movie that would be kind of tough to find by name you can look it up by the tt-id from imdb.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1486670/

search for tt1486670

I'm watching it now. I'm not especially blown away.

The Pack was decent. I enjoyed it for a quick little piece of horror.
Haven't seen the other though. I plan on checking it before long though.

I tried to watch Cemetery Man at least 3 times. Could never grab my attention. Hearing how so many loved it, I have to try again

I'm with you there, I found the ZANY comedy extremely tiresome, didn't work at all for me . . .

Mondo Movie got me a watchin':

Bronx Warriors from the Italian Post Apocalypse show (Castellari goodness)
Revenant - now one of my faves if not my fave vampire films.
The Fifth Cord - probably my favourite Mondo discovery and a great introduction to the Giallo genre.
Dust Devil - always loved Hardware, but this is something else entirely.
Cruising - can't go too far wrong with Friedkin, but their review meant that I knew it was on DVD at last (with commentary!).
Halloween 3: Season of the Witch - not a fan of Carpenter's original, but this is barmy and brilliant.
Gymkata - not sure how I made it through my childhood without ever seeing this doozy.
Cold Prey - not a big slasher fan, but this isn't too bad.
Bad Biology - only ever knew Henenlotter for the Basket Case flicks. A welcome return .
Surveillance - Lynch's daughters films are so indebted to her father's output, but they couldn't be further from the mark and this is what makes them weirdly watchable and laughable.
Not Quite Hollywood - maybe one of the best film docs ever made, it certainly opened up a slew of films to me and I haven't looked back.
The Reflecting Skin - if I was a lazy journalist I'd say Lynch meets Malick, but Ridley is his own film maker.
The Horseman - probably my least favourite out of all their recommends. I feel that I'm in the minority here.
Le Cercle Rouge - I know Meville's films but I'd never been motivated to watch this, so glad I did.
The Suicide Club - WOW!

I loved Cemetery Man when I first saw it. I need to give it another viewing though as it has been many years since I gave it a look.

Oh yeah that one too for me, though I haven't seen Dust Devil (dunno why, but I keep confusing Richard Stanley with Philip Ridley) - think I probably saw Heartless too because of MM. Oh and Hardware (see, I'm confusing again), though I really wasn't keen on that one...

House of the Devil too, cuz I won the Blu Ray off ya! Interested to see Ti West's follow up to it at Fright Fest.

Movies you haven't watched because of Mondo Movie:
I still haven't seen a single Gregg Araki film . . .

House of the Devil has been unwatched on my shelf for too long. Need to rememdy that before The Innkeepers at Frightfest. I did see Cabin Fever 2 though, which I think he wasn't too pleased with himself, but I quite enjoyed it.

I'm with Mondo Dan on Araki, although I differ in that The Doom Generation is my least favourite, much prefer Nowhere, but that was the first one I saw and have rewatched a few times.
