Hey All

My name is Nick and i hail from the picturesque historical city of Bath in the SW of the UK. I discovered the podcast just before Xmas, and have been working my way through the archive ever since. I really dig the whole Mondo Movie set up, to the extent that this is the first time i've ever joined a forum, and this is in fact my first ever post!

I used to be a real movie buff, particularly the horror and exploitation stuff (I actually used to write for "In The Flesh" back in the day - remember that one?), but i've kinda drifted away from it over the last decade or so. Discovering the podcast has been awesome, though, and Ben and Dan's enthusiasm really seems to be contagious, so i think i may finally get off my butt and start seeking out some interesting movies....

Hey there,

Better late than never! Welcome to the forums,

Not sure if you've heard our Fanzine special yet, but Dan and I were both big fans of In The Flesh back in the day.

Hey Nick, welcome! As Ben mentions, on show 93 we talk about a load of our fanzine favourites, including In The Flesh!

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome!

I've listened to both the book shows and enjoyed them tremendously (although i can't believe you guys didn't mention the Psychotronic books!!)- a real trip down memory lane. In fact, they prompted me to email you as you'll see as you work through your inbox.

Pretty sure i had a copy of Oww My Brain Hurts way back when, too....

Thanks! Although I'm sure Ben talks about the Psychotronic Video Guide on the second book show?
