I've been listening to both of the podcasts you mentioned Swarez and I'm enjoying them both a lot. Which one were you in the Gremlins 2 podcast? Were you the heavy breather that sounded like he was having a heart attack (as commented on in the podcast itself) ? :D

I'm not the heavy breather, that's Kurt. I'm the one that didn't like it as much as the rest of the gang.

Well, my list of faves has been posted elsewhere on this forum so I won't bore you by re-posting it. (It's quite long).

However, I will add my love for The Saloon, GB and Cinemaslave.(Looks like Joe's FINALLY posted a new ep!!)

I am currently relistening to all The Saloon eps as kind of a tribute to John and Andy. I'm starting on the standard eps, then I will move onto the Spec Eds and finally to the Rough Cuts.
I will be spending a short time in hospital soon, so I will have plenty of time to listen to podcasts. (No, it's NOT exploratory brain surgery!! LMAO)

If you want something a little more light-hearted I might suggest Revolving Video. Basically a couple of Geordie blokes BSing about movies and stuff. There IS the occasional F-bomb, so be warned if u have sensitive ears.

I too enjoy Horror Etc (I think it was MondoMovie that put me onto the, so thanks for that!) Also a fan of the Splattercast and Left Field Cinema. My favourite non-movies podcast is Sick and Wrong

For a non-genre cast, Filmspotting's a pretty good listen.

For me it's Kermode ( he & Simon Mayo work well together) , after that Hollywood Saloon are quality epics for long trip they don't do regular casts more info shows on all movie topics ( Bond was really interesting).

Didn't notice it mentioned here, but the Gentlemen's Guide to Midnight Movies (or something close to that) isn't bad either. I've been listening to them, Outside the Cinema, and Deadpit on my drives to work between mondo casts.

I love the majority of the podcasts listed in this thread, with the minority I haven't yet heard. One podcast I really miss is the Genrebusters podcast...anyone know if they're ever coming back? Those guys are really knowledgeable about martial arts cinema.

I asked D Davis about that very issue here: http://mondomovie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9218&highlight=#9218

Not seen anyone mention the Rue Morgue Radio podcast on here yet. Horror reviews, interviews and music all in an hour long show.
Also, the Bloody Disgusting podcast is worth a listen too.

There are a couple I regularly listen to, though each falls short of Mondo Movie.

Horror, etc. - I love, love, love the hosts. Both guys show such passion for the films they love; especially Anthony. My only criticism is that sometimes they get so wrapped up in their discussions that they let out a lot of incorrect information about the films they're discussing. Still, their good humor and unbelievable Canadian politeness are unique and endearing.

Chinstroker vs. Punter - Many of their podcasts tend to fall into the trap of describing entire plots to films, but both hosts are extremely funny and make the show worth a listen.

Night of the Living Podcast - I tend to listen to them in waves. All of the hosts, and there are many, are good-natured and funny. They're also obviously true fans of the genre. The only thing that sometimes makes me stop listening for a while is that their tastes in film are very different from mine. That's fine. I mean, taste is subjective. Sometimes I just get flustered hearing them talk about some truly shitty new movies or remakes and slagging off older films. Still, I am greatly amused by them, so I always come back after a while. Plus, they record out of my home area, so Queen City gotta represent, yo!

Currently giving 'Horror Etc.' a try. But three shows in, it's not really winning me over. Every 'review' is basically a tortuously long (and way too detailed) plot synopsis with added "interesting" or "that sounds cool" from the other guy who hasn't seen it, and very little actual analysis. Struggling to find a show I enjoy as much as MM :D !
