It's a good sign when the studio commissions a second series before a single episode of the first series has been aired!
Hope Darabont brings more lighter moments than he had in The Mist. For me, the overwrought human drama clashed with the genre monster movie element, sucking out the fun . . .
I hear what you are saying, though there are not many light moments in the comics. While i know the tv series is not going to be 100% faithful to its origins im hoping its going to be played fairly straight faced. The only concern i have is that as much as i want the show to be a hit i cant see it fulfilling its potential, the tv show will have to have an end as oppose to the ongoing comic book? I just fear that somewhere down the line the it will get cancelled before it has time to evolve,as seems to be the case these days.Still,im so fuckin excited about this series, cant wait!!
