I've recently just rushed through the first season of The West Wing; found it utterly infectious, the brisk and intelligent dialogue had be wanting more and more after the end of each episode and the fact that Martin Sheen is the president of the united states is just brilliant to watch. I've had the whole collection on dvd for quite some time now but haven't found the urge to start the series, but now that i've just finished season 1 i'm eager to crack on with season 2.

Anyone else on the forums have an opinion on the show?

For me this cements my view that The Social Network was a pile of shit too; Aaron Sorkin's writing shines through in The West Wing and is an utter pleasure to listen to; yet with that shitty Facebook film; his writing is just drivel that you couldn't give to shits about due to the film lacking any kind of humanity.
