Hello all im jon. Im from the north east of england,a place called Hartlepool. Absolutely love the podcast and have been lurking around the forums for about 7 months now. I have recently been made redundant so i have a lot more time to do what i love doing ie watching and reading about genre movies,dont get me wrong,i have 3 young children and a wife whom i love dearly but i get to stay up just that little bit longer now to watch stuff. I have way to many favourite movies to list here but if i had to pick five,in no particular order it would probobly go like this..Dawn of the dead Romeros original,though i do have a soft spot for Snyders version.Ringu Nakatas original,i just love dark asian cinima.The thing 1982,nuff said.Suspiria,an absolute masterpiece and in my oppinion argentos finest.Zombi 2,Zombie flesh eaters whatever you want to call it,again i love a zombie movie and this one for me has some of the scariest walking dead on film. I have quite a backlog of dvds and blurays i have to catch up on containing films ive listened about on the podcast. Im completely addicted to buying dvds with at least 3 or 4 being added on a weekly basis,at least now i have some time to kill that damned backlog
Anyway, i look forward to sharing my humble opinions with all of you.
