Welcome aboard, i too dabble in the film studies area and have recently just finished my first directorial piece. There's plenty of movie discussion on the forum for everyones needs. You're right with film taste hell i've had plenty of flack for my taste in films in the past but the forums are certainly clear of trolls etc... you'll only find like minded healthy discussions here.
