Hello all,
Please excuse the shameless self promotion here but I am trying to get word around to the podcast audiences I am a part of about my new horror themed podcast:
www.horroretc.com
2 guys, 3 segments per week, a couple ounces of schlock and a whole lot of horror film discussion.
I have already e-mailed Ben and Dan thanking them for the inspiration but can't say enough good things about the mondo movie podcast.
Hope you give us a try.

I have listened to all 4 eps so far and am highly impressed. Keep up the good work guys.

NB: Only gripe I have is I'd like it to be a little longer.

Just noticed that you guys are at number 17 on Podcastalley in the tv/film section. Pretty impressive after only 4 shows.

Haven't had a chance to listen to this yet but it's sitting on my mp3 player ready to roll : )

Only point I noticed, it'd be great if you guys had an RSS feed on your website as that's how I keep up to date with podcasts these days :)

Awesome.

Thanks for trying it out. I have had to learn how to construct a website from scratch so many of the options I'd like to have on the page aren't ready yet. You can subscribe by clicking on the link to the RSS feed though.

P.S. - just checked out The Mist last night, still unsure whether I like the new ending.

Just had a chance to listen to a couple of eps at work, loving it so far! What's your scheduele gonna work out as eg: weekly, bi-weekly etc?

Thanks for the RSS tip ;) Missed that one on first glance.

Episodes are currently running weekly but what I've learned from listening to many podcasts is to not make promises you can't keep so we kind of don't discuss it.
Dan and Ben seem to have settled on a bi-weekly schedule which works great when you expect it.
I have been surprised when a show I enjoy just vanishes for over a month without explanation.

Haven't listened yet, but have downloaded and will give it my full attention tomorrow! If I can give one piece of advice, I think it's its quite important to be regular when you first start out. We don't have nearly as much time as we did 2 years ago - it looks like it's going to a full month since the last show before we get show 63 online - but I think it really helped us in the first year that we managed (somehow!) to get a show out every week. You build an audience who aren't just going to unsubscribe if you have several week's downtime. Maintaning a presence on these boards between shows has really helped as well i think.

Well, you do what you can...unfortunately life has a tendency to get in the way.
I agree though, consistency is very important to newer listeners. Those who have been converted tend to be more patient - that's how it is with me anyway.

Just listened to the available 5 episodes and I´m impressed.

Great idea to step away from the usual review-cast and dive deeper into the brains of the horror-"user".

BTW Great reaction to the turtle scene. :)

As I've mentioned on the Hollywood Saloon forums, I've been listening to Ted's show recently, and am really enjoying it.
