Well worth checking out Amazon right now, and their 'under 6 quid' Blu-ray section. There's a ton of interesting BFI stuff in there. Just picked up 4 Pasolini's ( Decameron, Salo, Canterbury Tales, Arabian Nights), plus a bunch of other stuff.

There's several early Flipside releases in there too. I quite fancy Primitive London and London In The Raw.

Jinkies! There's a load of BFI. Never heard of most of them (apart from that Kenneth Anger bollocks), anyone got anything to recommend from there . . . ?

Privilege, Herostratus, The Bed-Sitting Room and Separation are all supposed to be good, if perhaps not to everyone's taste. Then there's your classic kitchen sinks - Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and Saturday Night, Sunday Morning.

Oh yeah I've seen the kitchen sinks - not particularly interested in owning the Blu Ray's though. Plus my dvd money is still going towards an ongoing Criterion binge - still after deals on Night on Earth, Wise Blood, and Close-Up . . .

Well, that was a waste of time. Amazon just cancelled all my Pasolini orders, 'cause they're unavailable from their supplier. Sigh...

^^ that's a royal pain in the arse.

I managed to pick up The Bed Sitting Room and London in the Raw, alas funds have dried up again.

Came across this in a cult movie book over the weekend - swiftly added it to the rental list (along with about 20 other titles), sounds pretty nutty . . .

Infuriatingly my Blu-ray player has packed up so I can't watch it at the moment. What's even more annoying is that special edition of Enter the Void cam in the post today - waaaaaah
