Can anyone recommend a good venue for a copy of this 1980 alien hunter in the backwoods story? I havent seen it in years but the alien design was kind of cool, played by the same guy who would don the Predator costume.
He doesnt face off against Arnold though--he takes on Jack Palance.

Also with Martin Landau, Cameron Mitchell, I really am disappointed this hasnt got a mainstream dvd release according to my searches.

I saw a bootleg of it recently and it's just as fun as you probably remember. There is an article on it in this month's Fangoria, so hopefully that may be incentive to give it a solid DVD release. For another Landau and Palance team up you can rent Alone in the Dark in the meantime.

I remember the movie very well for some reason. Despite the fact i may have only seen it twice. Once at a drive in and then on tv.



-the hero guy was a bad actor who would laugh stupidly at accidentally bumping into a light bulb, his acting did improve because he showed up later on an A Team episode.


-they lure the alien to a boobytrapped shack or something.

When Predator came out I totally was thinking about this movie.

They need the original tv ads and trailers on it too.

It also has one of my favorite actors in it Ralph Meeker.

Not to mention the heros who looks like Donny Osmond, best guy pal in the flick...?

I have a pretty good copy taken from Monster HD and burned onto a DVD-R. Great movie I'd love to see a proper DVD release.

I heard it is going to be an upcoming release by a company njutafilms/anotherworld
