This thing is a bit pricey, and I already own all of the movies in it, but I drool over it anyway and thought I would share.

I won't be buying it, too expensive for me when I already have them all, but it looks like a really nice set.

What heavenz said, I own them all and while the 3 movies are of varying quality (Oldboy is a chinatown movie, Lady Vengance is a very nice release) I dont care if they dont really match in the movie shelf.

When I managed a Suncoast store back around 2005 (before they closed it, which saddens me greatly) and the 3 DVD special edition of Oldboy came out, there were rumors going around that they were going to do the same deluxe 3 DVD treatment to both Sympathy for Mr Vengeance and Lady Vengeance. Does anyone remember that?

There's no mention on Tartan Asia Extreme's website about it, although the most recent news post there is from 2007. I guess it just never happened? I was really looking forward to having all 3 of them in the deluxe packages like that.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link to a picture of the Oldboy set, which is currently out of print, from what I gather...

I know I certainly would have bought all three movies in a deluxe set like that. The one that they did release is really nice, TONS of extras. Quite awesome for someone who's drawn to deluxe packaging like a moth to a flame. (such as myself)

I ordered a copy of this deluxe set when it came out, and after I recieved it they sent me a further FOUR copies - of course I sent them all straight back with a note pointing out their mistake  . . .

Woah, that is fortuitous.

I've got this and yeh it's pretty cool, but doesn't sit very neatly on my shelves (I'm pretty anal about uniformity on my DVD shelves) That being said though, people can't help but be impressed when I open bottles of Heineken with a hammer.
