Can I let people know if I have something for sale? Or can I draw people's attention to stuff on ebay?

No problem, only problem is finding the right forum for it, if there's enough interest we might even set up a classifieds/trade forum.

Ulysses 31 was a great series, but you'd be better off giving those tapes away to someone to be honest. If you tried selling them on Ebay, they won't sell, and even if someone was interested, the postage costs would be too high, that's if Ebay let you charge for posting and packaging. Trying to sell video tapes at bootsales is a complete waste of time to. The only thing i can think of is maybe some sci-fi shop somewhere MIGHT want them.

I loved the series and was really pleased when I found the tapes a few years ago in a charity shop but the VHS player broke and thought someone might be interested. Thanks for advice.

If you PM someone and they dont respond and do not allow emails to be received through the sight then theres no way to contact them other then posting in their thread if your interested in what their selling. So if everyone read their Pms and allowed emails to be to be sent through the site then this would work, But they dont

I can certainly say that I'd be interested in one. I am always upgrading versions of this or that, or buying a boxed set that I already have a movie or two from the set already.

Not to mention that I may have something in Region 1 that someone in the UK may not have and want, and I'm always looking for something that's Region 2 and might be able to get from someone used cheaper than importing.

Plus, my to-watch pile is huge, I'm sure there's going to be some in there I don't like and someone may want as I watch them and decide if they are keepers or not. :)

I would gladly swap dvds with people on here. Just a matter of trust really. I'm having a serious clear out of my dvd collection. In fact, the dvds I'll be watching first on my new year to watch list, will be the ones I'll be getting rid of. A guess would be 30-40 at the moment counting boxsets as one dvd.
