Hi fellas,


Just a quick suggestion that I think could vastly improve the forum. Im a newbie here so I dont want to step on toe's but here it goes.

Now I pop in a fair bit to have a read of things put I dont really post much (hoping to change that). I notice the board is very segmented i.e. you have a separate forum for HD, dvd, bargains and General movie discussion.....dont mean to sound harsh or critical but at the moment I dont think there is enough traffic to justify that (again thats not a critiscm its a pretty niche intimate community and I like it like that ).


Anyway I think if all these were in the one forum it would encourage people to post more, give the site more traffic and generally increase the "community" atmosphere. For example I find myself rarely visiting the DVD or HD forums and just sporadically checking into the bargain one. Im sure there are some threads in there now and again though that would take my fancy and I would post in but going through seperate forums just puts me off.



I frequent a couple of messageboards were there is just one main forum and it really works a charm, really helps in creating a good atmosphere. Im not saying just bung everything into one big forum but at the moment I just feel there are a few too many. Anyway just a suggestion, what do people reckon?

I definitely think there's a balance to be struck between not making the forum too bitty and not turning each section into a huge free-for-all where it's difficult to find stuff. At the end of the day, this is YOUR part of the site, so people, let us know what you reckon - if you all think we've got too many sections we can certainly merge some.
