Just thought Id give this book a shout as its one a lot of film fans would overlook.


Basically its a collection of all the interviews done with directors in Playboy magazine over the years....now I know what your thinking..Brett Ratner, Michael Bay, John Waters etc. but its not the case at all. Heres a list of the directors interviewed:

Orson Welles, Billy Wilder, Stanley Kubrick, Clint Eastwood, Francis Ford Coppola, David Mamet, Spike Lee, Tarantino, Altman, Fellini, John Huston, Roman Polanksi, Oliver Stone and the Coen brothers.


Really surprising and diverse line up and the interviews are top notch and are really full of info and give a perspective that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else.


Its a perfect coffee table book. I have it on the bedstand and you can just pop in and out whenever you want so Id definately recommend it..espeically as its only a tenner on Amazon.
