Any one read any of Michael Weldon’s (or Michael J. Weldon) “Psychotronic” film guide books. Still have the first one. Great reviews, short and simple. The man loves genre cinema unlike most more known film reviews such as Roger Ebert who think every film should be a Kurosawa or Bergman art house movie or something like that.

Both of his books are terrific. It's got to the stage where I can open the first one on any page and find a review of something I've seen. It is my goal to see everything in it before I die...(of boredom/square eyes/insanity). His psychotronic magazine is also worth a look. Whilst some of us happily ignore Farcebook and ToungeTwat or whatever is the latest fad this week, Weldon used to have a banner on the front of his mag saying "Proudly NOT online since 1995!". He's shunned the entire Internet. That's quite tricky for a movie fan.
