I’m sending back my HD-DVD player to Amazon! I’ll lose a restock fee but I don’t need this anchor! I wish the ASSHOLE Movie companies would have announced this before Christmas. I have a feeling they knew but wanted to dump all the HD-DVD players they could. Oh well. Anybody want any cheap HD-DVD movies? I’m not buying till all this shit is over. Netflicks says it will be streaming movies later this year. If that works out they have a huge catalog and maybe you wouldn’t even have to buy DVDs anymore!

Do you know how much the restocking fee will be, as a percentage of what you paid? I checked their returns policy and it was clear as mud.

What do you have for sale?

Thanks,
Rob

I think it's about $30 + shipping. But a least I can get rid of it now before ther are no movies for it. I should know better to get in a war like this! Neve again!

Enter The Dragon $15
Blazing Saddles $15
2001 $15
Transformers (2disk) $25

Sent mine back as well but as it was only bought last week I'll get a full refund minus shipping. Have duly ordered a Sony BDPS300 instead...

Amazon just lowered the price of the HD-A30 to $180, which I can take advantage of since I bought the player within the last 30 days. So I'm going to keep it, get my free movies, and enjoy the HD-DVD movies available through Netflix. I'll also take advantage of its upscaling features, an area in which I hear it outperforms Blu-Ray players.

I'll buy a Blu-Ray player when they hit the $200 price point or LOTR is released in Blu-Ray, whichever comes first.
