Hi Guys,

Recently started working my way through the podcast back catalogue and browsing the forums so thought I'd mention a couple of movies I remember from back in the 80's. Having regressed somewhat over the last few years I have been re-watching some of the stuff I remember watching as a kid.

One that I had fond memories of and which actually stood up pretty well is 'Link' (1986) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091415/ starring Terrence Stamp and a young Elizabeth Shue. Its basically a serial killer who happens to be an orangutan.....melding my love of animals and slasher movies!

Another I was thinking of recently but have not managed to pick up was Pin: A plastic nightmare http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095871/. I'm pretty sure this one was sh*te at the time so may be better left buried....I'd be suprised if its ever surfaced on DVD??

Anyway, sorry if you've already discussed these on the podcasts.

Cheers

Alan

The 80s are certainly my favorite horror decade. I was a little disappointed in Link, maybe I was hoping for something a little more ridiculous since it involved a chimp. But I liked Pin a lot. It was streaming on Netflix in America but it looks like it's gone. One of my least favorite things in movies is one that poses "Is this really happening?". But Pin does it perfectly.
