Ah it's all over - congratulations! You'll have to teach me the secrets of staying awake - I struggled to watch a whole TWO films back to back last night. :shock:

I've added Vampire's Kiss to my rental list . . .

Phew, all done indeed. I was really struggling with the last 15 mins of Z, but I just managed it before rolling into bed.

Yep that pic is definitely interchangeable with how I looked at 3.00am last night! What a cracking film, although maybe I was simply empathising with Cage's madness?

Hey phurious, just looked at the list of this challenge and had to laugh when I saw 'Taffin' on there! Now this film has recently been brought to my attention due to the 'Adam & Joe Podcast' and the hilarious line delivery that Pierce Brosnan gives! For anyone not in the know here it is;

Yep - that was the main reason I included it. It's become immortal.

Let us know what it's like when you have watched it as I don't think it's one i'll rush out to watch! I listened to you latest podcast today and i'm going to have to check out a film you name dropped 'Bad Boy Bubby'. You peaked my interest as soon as you said Evil Dead 2 was your old favourite film because you see, Evil Dead & Evil Dead 2 are my favourite films (Along with Robocop) so straight away you have got me by the bollocks to track down 'Bad Boy Bubby' and see it. I trust your recommendations immensely since it was you who pointed me towards the excellent 'Angst'

You won't regret watching Bad Boy Bubby believe me, and I know that you'll make it through the first 20mins or so, which is what must folks struggle with, but I believe you have a strong constitution for the disturbing in film. Would love to hear what you make of it when you track it down - make sure you get the Blue Underground release as it has decent extras.

Evil Dead II will always be close to my heart and I've watched it so many times it feels like it's been burnt on to my retinas ditto Robocop actually.

As for Taffin, I'm slowly doing little reviews on my blog about the films I watched for the Alphabet Challenge, but T's a long way down the list and I'm pretty busy for the next fortnight, so to sum it up briefly the 'Heeeeeeeeeeeeere' scene is definitely the highlight, but there are plenty of other choice moments to laugh at (note: laugh 'at' not 'with'!)

Yep Robocop and the Evil Dead films are firmly burnt into my brain, they will be there forever! Robocop i've watched every year since I was a kid. I will let you know what I think of 'Bad Boy Bubba' when i've watched it! Hopefully it will be in the next few days! I take it then it's quite grim if people struggle to make it through? Well saying that is like cat nip to me, I like a good dose of violence and depravity in my films as much as the next man :lol:

The less I say about it the better, but let me just say that it starts at one end of the spectrum and then finishes at the other end with a lot going on in-between.
