Whoah mate, I am loving that Female Prisoner 701 scorpion poster! I'd love to see a high-res version of that. We've just moved into a new house and a print of that would look fantastic in our living room.

Great stuff.

Well the dvd will be waiting for me in the post when I get back off holiday, so who knows :D. Was thinking of doing a Blade Runner one, definitely be fun to do, but a bit too obvious perhaps . . .

Cheers. Thinking about getting a few designs done first, and then opening a shop on etsy.com and see if there is any interest from the buying public . . .

Been playing about with vector graphics recently, making likes out of precise points and curved lines. On one hand it's a maddeningly slow process, but I do love the sharpness of the end result. Starting with something simple while I got used to the technique, I did a portrait of Coffin Joe himself, Mr. Jose Mojica Marins...

Image

Zooming in you can see how the image retains complete sharpness no matter how close you get.

Image

I'm currently using the same technique on something a little more ambitious. I'll post it here when its done, seeing as I've turned this into my own Take Hart wall...

Probably yet another scantily clad babe covered in snakes and spiders. I think by the look in his eyes, even he's getting bored with that shit . . .

Just to get back to the original topic for a sec I'm currently doing a 365 challenge at the moment, no rules just simply watch 365 films in one year. Currently around the 270 mark so got about 5 months left to watch the remaining films. I'm finding it harder now then when I first started though.

Any highlights of note from this 365 film madness?

I reckon I'll do some kind of horror marathon during October - thinking maybe 31 titles I've not seen before to be watched before the end of the month. Not exactly hardcare compared to the alphabet challenge though, maybe it should be 66 titles  . . .

There have been a few:

-Look was an excellent film, lots of little stories that meet up with each other in little ways.
-A fan film Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy - Part 1 was pretty decent.
-Hell Comes To Frogtown became a member of my favourite all time films.
-Big Bad Moma, Grunt! The Wrestling Movie & Kayfabe were a lot better then I expected.
-Bitch Slap & Pervirella were silly fun
-Black Dynamite was ace and reminded me to check out other Blaxploitation films (Seen TNT Dynamite a couple of years ago) and have since seen Petey Wheatstraw, The Devils Son In Law & Disco Godfather, both very enjoyable.
-Witchcraft 1-13 (not the one with Linda Blair - thats still to come) were a challenge in themselves as they somehow managed to get worse and worse after starting badly.
-The Refrigerator had one of the best death by fridge scenes ever.

Haven't got time for the Alphabet challenge at all in the manner that Phurious is doing it, spend most the time taking care of my little boy so don't get much free time until his bed time.

You could add an anthology film like Body bags but only watch some of it parts so you can try and go for 66.6 films at Halloween.

Great pictures Slippery Jack. I just saw this article online and thought I'd post it here:

Ah cool. It seems to be the horror genre leading the way for illustrated poster art, with dvd labels like Arrow commissioning new art for their dvd reissues . . .
