Can somebody help me out with a film I saw about twenty years ago. It was a film/ or short film that may/or may not have been screened before "Space Camp".

It was about two brothers called the Berko Brothers who were survivors of a plane crash. One brother lost his leg and the other brother was forced to carry him around until they were fused together. I have no idea what it is called. Can anybody help me out?

No idea, but it sounds like a deeply weird thing to show in front of a family movie like Space Camp! Those were the days... I remember seeing Tim Burton's equally freaky early film Frankenweenie as a supporting film to Krull (or was it Baby: Secret Of The Lost Legend?)

It may have even been on at the front of the video copy. I saw it at vacation camp.

No idea, sorry.

Reminds me of the old UK VHS of "The Devil's Rain" that has a bonus documentray film on the end...about rock climbing!

I saw the 'AA' rated "Saturn 3" on a cinema double bill in support of the 'PG' rated 'classic' "Hawk the Slayer" many years ago as a child. "Saturn 3" gave me damn nightmares after!
And not just about Kirk Douglas's naked butt!

I can't help with that query either I'm afraid - but I have my own "incompatible" supporting short anecdote. I saw a British short around 1979/80 (which was when I was very young indeed) - it was called 'Panic' - I don't remember much about it apart from a guy being murdered in his car as he is stopped at traffic lights. It really freaked me out. I think it played before "Battlestar Galactica" - which received a european theatrical release

Wow! The Berko Brothers! - I saw that short movie about 25 years ago! It was like a bonus movie on the end of a VHS movie i had borrowed from a store. It totally creeped me out, especially the part where they scared all the kids at the scouts(?) camp by flying out of the bush on a flying fox. The movie was a story told by one of the scouts about the Berko Brothers crashing their plane, one couldnt walk and the other carried him on his back as they searched for help. They searched so long the carried brother grew onto the back of the one carrying him and they became like a horror legend that was the story being told at camp. Then one of the camp kids actually senses strange things happening, and has sightings of the Berko Brothers around their camp.

Would love to see this old short horror flick again! Im fairly sure it was titled "The Berko (bourko, burko??) Brothers".

If anyone is still interested. This film is an Australian horror short called "The Fogbrook Thing". For those with CG accounts, you can download it from there.

This is for the UK kids of the 70s/80s.

Do any of you remember The Children's Film and Television Foundation films that were shown on the BBC which I think were shown during the holidays?

The one I remember vividly was a film called Sammy's Super T-Shirt. It was about a boy who has a tee shirt developed by scientists which can make him go super fast, and win races at school.

There is the full length movie on youtube, but this is a small clip of the film.

Thanks for bumping the post. I'd never seen this reply. Now I need to find out what CG stands for and how I can find the short.
