Either the search isn't working or nobody has ever mentioned Crispin Glover on this forum. That surely can't be right.

Anyway, he's touring his Big Slide Show in the UK this month and showing the second film in his "It" trilogy. Q&As, signings, etc too. I've heard it's quite a night.

6th Filmhouse Cinema, Edinburgh
8th The Star and Shadow Cinema CIC, Newcastle Upon Tyne
10th Phoenix Cinema, London
12th Cube Cinema, Bristol
16th Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow
17th Light House Cinema, Wolverhampton

Full details of the shows here.

Ever seen the music video he did for the song in Willard? Hilarious. And total bonkers. I'm betting this would be a great thing to go to.

I have. He did a really weird commentary for it too. The guy is a legend.

Here's the trailer for It Is Fine, the film he's showing:

Podcast is excellent talks about Back to the Future II lawsuit, and various other films that he's done in the past.

I live down the road from the Wolverhampton Lighthouse. Don't think I've ever seen Crispin Glover in anything aside from Dead Man though :o . . .

Madder than a bag of hammers.

He'd made an interesting Joker or Riddler for a Batman movie though...

I remember his spaz out on David Letterman--host looked genuinely creeped out and hid behind his desk when Glover started doing kung fu kicks in the air.
His and Sean Penn's connection to the Beaver Trilogy is the weirdest thing ever though.

Is that the one where he's that weird character with long hair? I think on You Tube all of the videos claim that he's on acid, but actually it was a ll a set up.

Ah hadn't heard about this, sounds like it would be cool.
I hope they film some of the shows as I'm not sure I'll be able to get to one.
I'll check out that podcast too.
There's a book of interviews with some cult figures in film (including Glover) I'd like to get:

**yeah that's it
later Letterman called him a jerk
though it was strange that he would get so upset-Glover didnt actually do anything-kicks in the air--so yeah i can believe it was a set up.

Letterman had him back showing off his rock collection.

The Letterman one, where he is wearing the heels, does a kick...

... it looks like he is playing his character Rubin, from Rubin & Ed. Which came out 4 years after the appearance on Letterman, so I wonder what the story there is....
