Has there ever been a better horror movie tribute? Maybe I'm being a little over enthusiastic but it's two hours on and I just can't stop thinking about how awesome it was <SPOILERS> Who didn't wonder how the unicorn was going to work when it showed up on the blackboard? And the Japanese version, and I'd love to go back and find out what was going on in Mardrid and the other sites?

There is so much stuff in there that I know I saw that I have to go back and watch to process it again. So much going on in the background and there is a giant Cobra eating people. And then Sigourney Weaver shows up.

They were going to shelve it in Oz and send it straight to video. In a world where Hollywood spends God knows on Battleship then make this and don't know what to do with it. And they say piracy is ruining the film industry...

Really, no love for Cabin? I was hoping some people picked up some other triggers that I missed. I reckon if you look hard enough - and I've only seen it once - that there would be a lot more triggers in there. The wolf's head for instance. What about the mirror?

Even the moderators don't want my Cabin in the Woods chat? Surely there's someone else out there who thinks its the best horror film since The Descent (sorry Trick R Treat fans).

I'm not going to say it's a bad movie, but I'm not going to say it's a good one either. I like to call this my Batman moment. I can't reallykick this movie to the curb, but the buildup, for me, lead to something measured and weighed and has come up wanting. I can't put my finger on it either. I can't point out exactly what did send it right out of the bleachers, I came out of the theater not exactly happy with what I saw.
